Nigerian model cum brand influencer, Ivy Ifeoma’s post has elicited speculation that she and her lover, singer Paul Okoye are currently going through a rough patch in their relationship.

Ivy seemingly slammed Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy after he asserted that all that matters to a man is respect and not love.

It all started when the 41-year-old, who recently went public with his relationship with his 22-year-old lover, stated via his Instagram page weeks back that sometimes, all a man needs from his partner is to be respected rather than to be loved.

According to him, men are not always concerned about love, and respect is the only thing that matters to them. He wrote:

“For Men… Sometimes it’s not all about love. RESPECT… is all that matters!!!.”

This assertion didn’t sit well with Paul’s lover, Ivy, and she recently took to her Instagram stories to react.

She quoted her lover and asked what makes a man’s partner different from any random person if all that matters to him is respect?

She went on to set men who demand respect like their life depends on it straight that respect is earned. She urged them to respect their partners too and stop acting like a dog. In her words:

“Men don’t need love, all they need is respect.”

These are two different things, bro. If that’s all you need, what’s the difference between your partner and any random person, ’cause anyone can respect you… But there’s respect in love too.

And those men that keep demanding respect up and down like their lives depend on it, hope you know it’s earned? Stop acting like a dog and treat others with respect too.”

This is coming shortly after she responded to netizens who compared her to PSG defender, Hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk.
