Rema and Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down” remix hits a new top position of No. 7 on the most recent Billboard Chart, which is dated April 15, 2023, moving up one spot from its previous peak position of No. 8.
As a result, “Calm Down” continues to hold the record for being the highest-charting African song on the chart. Wizkid’s “Essence” ft. Tems & Justin Bieber, which peaked at No. 9, sits closely behind it in the record book.
The song, which was one of the main singles for Rema’s debut album “Raves & Roses” when it was released in February 2022, went on to have enormous popularity internationally and to top numerous charts in Europe, the Middle East, and the US.
‘Calm Down‘ was been certified a double diamond by SNEP, the French certification organization. Also, it has received certification plaques in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and a number of other nations, including the US, where it was awarded an RIAA platinum plaque.
