Oniyide Abdul Azeez Oluwashina Adigun popularly known as Zinoleesky was born on 21st April 2000 in Lagos State, Nigeria. Zino who is originally from Ogun State was born into a Muslim family where his mother is a businesswoman and his dad is a civil servant.
He has a very cordial relationship with his parents, especially his mom. Celebrating his birthday on his social media page, Zinoleesky wrote I just want Mom and Dad to always bless the day they brought me to this world. Zino grew up in the Agege area of Lagos State; he reportedly has brothers and sisters, but their names and what they do for a living are not public knowledge.

EDUCATION
Zinoleesky is one of the few Nigerian artists who, through their breakthroughs, continue to prove to the world that talents are not only learned in institutions of higher learning but can as well be possessed right from birth. While growing up, he attended Lively Kids Nursery and primary school, Agege, Lagos.
For his secondary education, he enrolled at Boys’ secondary school, Agege, Lagos, where he obtained his Senior School Certificate. Zino is not a university graduate. He started pursuing a career in music quite early, and after he finished secondary school, he decided not to further his education but to go into music fully.

HOW HE STARTED MUSIC
In an interview with Buzz Nigeria, the young Nigerian music talent revealed that he had a set of friends in his primary school days. They used to sing other musicians’ songs as if they were theirs and also engage in a break dancing party as they sing. This they continued to do till he completed his primary education and parted ways with those particular friends of his.
Then, he moved to Boys’ secondary school, where he met Ibradosky and Lil Frosh, and they subsequently became friends. The three friends would usually challenge themselves with freestyle music and post the videos on their Instagram pages, not knowing that it would one day bring them to fame. On one of the occasions, Zinoleesky posted the video on his social media page, and it caught the attention of Kizz Daniel; he liked it and immediately followed Zinoleesky on Instagram. This singular act was what Zino said motivated him and his friends Ibradosky and Lil Frosh to put more genuine effort into music.

Zinoleesky Rejected Davido’s Offer to Join His DMW Record Label
In 2019, when both Zinoleesky and Lilfrosh began to gain massive attention in the music industry, an arm of Davido Music Worldwide, AMW offered them a deal to join the record label. Still, Zinoleesky turned down the offer while his friends Lil Frosh wasted no time jumping at the offer. He was criticized and attacked for being the first upcoming artist to reject a music contract offer from Davido and his camp.
However, Zinoleesky disclosed his reason for rejecting the offer after signing to Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music, alongside three other upcoming artists, Fabian Blu, C Black, and Mohbad. According to him, he said he was not cool with the content of the contract and he felt he doesn’t belong there. While some people criticized him for throwing away an opportunity many were looking for others applauded him for being smart enough to know what he wants.
Speaking on how he joined Marlian Music, Zinoleesky said he sent a DM to Naira Marley requesting collaboration and Naira Marley replied saying he’s got other plans for him. He then offer Zinoleesky a contract to join Marlian Music and he accepted.
The decision he made that year is now paying off for him now because if he had accepted the deal, he will be left in the hands of Aloma former Davido’s staff who knows little or nothing about music to be his boss.
How He Dominated the Nigerian Music Industry Under Marlian Music
Zinolessky is super talented, strong-spirited, and hardworking, which has given him a decent place in the highly competitive Nigerian music industry.
After some years of struggle, Zinoleesky landed his debut in 2019 with the song Caro, and since then, he has released several chat topping singles and 2 EPs titled Chrome (Eccentric) EP and Grit & Lust
He had his big break in 2019 after he dropped the single Ma Pariwo produced by Tripss. The song released on 6th July 2020 has arguably become one of the biggest Nigerian songs of the year. Currently, it has about 15 million streams on Audiomack and over 2.7 million views on YouTube. In September 2020, popular Nigerian hip-hop artist Mayorkun did a cover of Ma Pariwo, and it has gotten 5 million streams on Audiomack.
He has collaborated with some well-established musicians in the industry, such as Naira Marley, Adekunle Gold, Omah Lay, Ayra Starr, Lil Kesh and lots more.
Many music pundits have argued that Zinoleesky’s pen game and musical talent are the only things responsible for his growth. Many of his songs are chart-topping songs because of how well he writes and delivers, his record label however hardly contributes anything significant to push his music. Zinoleesky and his songs are reflections of the fact that good products sell themselves.

Zinoleesky has been linked severally with a lovely young lady named Shubomi Fashola a sister to Zinoleesky’s boss, Naira Marley. The rumor about their relationship started when the video of both mature adults locking lips emerged online. However, in a recent interview in had at Cool FM, Zinoleesky revealed that he is single.

According to DNB Stories Africa, he is reportedly worth $200,000. The prominent songwriter is the owner of two known cars. His first car is a Lexus Es350 luxury sedan. Zinoleesky’s car was speculated to be worth around 4.5 million Naira. Zino bought a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro in 2021 for 31 million naira according to carport.ng.
Early 2023, Zinoleesky took to his Instagram page, to share photos of his new multi-million naira mansion, saying his 2023 has already started. With a mansion and 2 luxury cars, it’s safe to say Zinoleesky is one of the richest young musicians in Nigeria’s music scene.
