Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has told manager Erik ten Hag that he wants to leave the club in a face-to-face meeting.
Ronaldo flew back to the UK on Monday and met with Ten Hag and senior United officials on Tuesday.
Although the 37-year-old is insisting on leaving the club this summer, United are adamant the player is not for sale.
This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Wednesday evening.
Romano tweeted: “No changes yet for Cristiano Ronaldo situation. Manchester United insist he’s not for sale, Cristiano told ten Hag in the last 24h that he still wants to leave.
“His agent Jorge Mendes will try again to find a solution. Waiting strategy on, as last year with Juventus.”Follow Us On Social Media 👇
