Saudi Arabian Club Set To Release Xavi For Barcelona Coaching Job

An arrangement by Saudi Arabian club, Qatari Al Sadd to deliver Xavi Hernández with the goal that he can join Barcelona as mentor has been affirmed.

The club affirmed the arrangement on Friday, as indicated by Guardian UK.

The club added that it has agreed with Barcelona to end Xavi’s agreement with the Qatari club Al Sadd.

The 41-year-old, who made the remainder of his 767 Barcelona appearances in 2015, will succeed Ronald Koeman with the group battling in La Liga.

Al Sadd said on Friday that they had “conceded to Xavi’s transition to Barcelona after the installment of the delivery condition specified in the agreement”.

Barcelona’s leader, Joan Laporta, began conversations a little while back with Xavi, who clarified he was prepared to acknowledge a proposal to get back to the Camp Nou, however dealings with Al Sadd took longer than anticipated.

Xavi got through Barcelona’s foundation and is one of the club’s generally celebrated and adorned players. His profession as a supervisor started at Al Sadd in May 2019 after he finished his playing days there and last month he drove the group to triumph in Qatar’s Amir Cup last.

A number of Belgium players were involved in a dressing bust-up after their shock 2-0 defeat to Morocco at the 2022 World Cup.

According to RTL Sport, Kevin de Bruyne, Jan Vertonghen, and captain Eden Hazard clashed after the match.

Tensions were already high after De Bruyne told reporters before the game that the team was “probably too old” to win the trophy.

Those tensions now appear to have reached boiling point, as the three players let their tempers erupt following the loss.

It is understood that De Bruyne, Hazard and Vertonghen had to be separated by Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku.

The emotionally-charged changing room could prove disastrous ahead of their final group stage fixture against Croatia.

World Cup: Benzema To Return To France Squad

Karim Benzema could make a surprising return to the France squad at the 2022 World Cup.

The 34-year-old had initially been ruled out through injury.

Benzema was expected to miss the entire tournament with a thigh problem.

France head coach, Didier Deschamps, opted not to call up a replacement and has continued with Kylian Mbappe, Olivier Giroud, Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezmann, Kingsley Coman and Marcus Thuram.

However, RMC Sport claims that Benzema could still return to the France setup as he returns to full training this week at Real Madrid.

Benzema could be fit enough to take part in the knockout stages of the World Cup.

FIFA rules permit players to return to their squads if they recover from injury if they had initially been named in the tournament squad before being ruled out.
