The appearance of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus after Sancho added much more contest to the assaulting positions at Man United, with the Portugal skipper working through the center and Mason Greenwood in Sancho’s favored situation on the right.

Yet, Ferdinand needs Sancho not to see Ronaldo’s landing in Man United as something besides a positive, adding that the 21-year-old ought to follow the instances of Evra and Vidic, who he said didn’t perform well when they recently joined the Red Devils.

“He [Sancho] can’t see somebody like Ronaldo being in your changing area, having the option to work close by him [as a negative],” Ferdinand told MailOnline.

Yet, in some cases when you go to a football club, you really want the wide range of various pieces of the jigsaw to fit in. Furthermore, right now, they aren’t squeezing into their ideal spots. I feel that will come, I imagine that will involve time.

“Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic are the models that he really wants to incline toward and be shown. There are heaps of players that came into United and didn’t [perform straight away]. Patrice and Nemanja are two incredible models from my age.”
