Rema Extends Billboard Afrobeats Songs Chart Record To 36 Weeks

Nigerian talented artist Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, has continues to dominate the Billboard Afrobeats Songs chart with his hit tune “Calm Down.“

Rema’s extraordinary ability and enthusiasm are reflected within the album’s exceptional ubiquity and galactic gushing figures. The Mavin ruler is well-positioned to continue making waves within the industry since of his enduring commitment to his craftsmanship and his developing fan base.

Rema’s “Calm Down“ became the biggest international Afrobeats song in history, as it topped the charts worldwide. The single continues to resonate with Afrobeats internationally, the latest single being a new African record on the Billboard Hot 100.

In the latest instalment of Billboard’s Afrobeats Songs Chart (weekly chart May 13, 2023), “Calm Down“ continues its chart-topping history. The single currently has a record 36 weeks at the top while entering its 59th week on the chart.

Libianca’s ‘People‘ holds her top NO. 2 spot as she remains on the chart for the 22nd week.

Tems‘ “Free Mind” is still in the NO position. 3 while extending its course on the chart to 59 weeks. Wizkid’s “Essence” featuring Tems and Justin Bieber rises one place to NO. 4 at the same time entering the 59th week.

Ayra Starr’s “Rush” takes a spot in NO. 5 enters week 33 on the chart. Burna Boy’s “Last Last” still holds NO. 6 as it entered its 51st week on the chart.

CKay’s ‘Love Nwantiti‘ rises one place to NO. 7 by hitting a 59-week high on the chart. Victony & Tempoe’s “Soweto” remix featuring Rema & Don Toliver falls to the NO position. 8, Fireboy’s “Peru” with Ed Sheeran drops to NO. 9, and Davido’s “Unavailable” with Musa Keys holds the No. 10.

Debuting this week, Rema’s new single “Charm” from his Ultra “Raves & Roses” debuted at number 1. 12.
