A gas big tanker vehicle has exploded along the Sagamu interchange of the Lagos-Ibadan thruway, Ogun State on Monday, November 8.
The big tanker, which was moving outward the Lagos segment of the interstate, had three people on board as of the time it burst into flames.
SauceNG revealed that the three people among whom was the driver, supported wounds and were raced to an emergency clinic for treatment.
Ogun Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ahmed Umar, affirmed the episode to newsmen.
As indicated by him, FRSC agents from Mowe and Sagamu had been critically sent to the location of the fire episode.
Umar added that men of the Ogun State Fire Services were reached as they helped in putting out the furious fiery blaze.
“A fire episode has been accounted for around the above-portrayed area. The fire was said to include a LPG big hauler moving towards Sagamu Interchange on the outward Lagos part of the turnpike,” he affirmed.
The harmed casualties, as indicated by Umar, are all at Idera clinic in Sagamu, as he added that “the subtleties of the vehicle couldn’t be gotten at this point.”
