Finally Explained: See Why Fish Fall From The Sky During Rainfall

Cases of fishes falling from the sky have been reported in different places around the world.

In fact, one of such incident happened in Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria on the 19th of May 1993. Over 160 cases of this incident have been reported all over the world.

Fish were falling from the sky during a rainfall. Surprisingly, many people said the fishes were from heaven, more like gift from God. This is wrong!

Fishes do not come from heaven. God is a logical creator, this is what you should always keep in mind.

Before you can clearly understand how fish are able to fall from heaven, then we must first explain what a Tornadic waterspout is.

What Is A Tornadic Waterspout?

“Tornadic” is a word coined from Tornado. I am sure we all know what a Tornado is. It is that violent air that rolls in different directions, destroying things on its path.

A tornado is a violent air that takes place on land, while a Tornadic Waterspout is the Tornado that takes place on water. I believe this is clear now.

How Tornadic Waterspout Causes Fishes To Fall From The Sky

If you have been familiar with many movies involving geographic documentaries, you will observe that Tornadoes usually pick up objects from the ground and lift them into the sky.

Tornadoes can take an object from one location, move several kilometers before dropping such object at another location.

The same way, a Tornadic waterspout often picks up fishes from the sea, river, or ocean takes them up into the sky for a long time before finally dropping them at a different location.

According to Wikipedia;

Waterspout can sometimes suck small animals such as fish out of the water and all the way up into the cloud.
Even if the waterspout stops spinning, the fish in the cloud can be carried over land, buffeted up and down and around with the cloud’s winds until its currents no longer keep the flying fish in the atmosphere.

Depending on how far they travel and how high they are taken into the atmosphere, the fish are sometimes dead by the time they rain down.
People as far as 160 km (100 miles) inland have experienced raining fish.

This is what happened when you see fishes falling in your neighborhood.

A Tornadic waterspout had probably picked up the aquatic animals from a far-away distance before coming to drop them at your location during rainfall.

After being diagnosed with a rare disease known as Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, Justin Bieber, the world-famous Canadian singer, has stated he is experiencing facial paralysis.

Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a shingles syndrome that arises when shingles strikes the facial nerve near one ear. It can induce hearing loss as well as facial paralysis.

Causes

Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by the varicella-zoster virus, which also causes chickenpox and shingles.

The virus is thought to infect the facial nerve near the inner ear in persons who have this disease. The nerve becomes irritated and swells as a result of this.

Adults are the ones who are most affected. It’s only observed in children in a few situations.

Symptoms

Symptoms may include the following;

Ear discomfort that is unbearable
On the side with the damaged nerve, a painful rash appears on the eardrum, ear canal, earlobe, tongue, and roof of the mouth.
On one side, you have hearing loss.
The sensation of everything spinning is a strong one (vertigo)
Face droop and paralysis on one side, causing difficulties shutting one eye, chewing (food falls out of the weak corner of the mouth), forming expressions, and fine motions of the face, as well as facial droop and paralysis.

Recovery Chances

If the nerve hasn’t been severely damaged, you should be fully recovered in a few weeks. You may not totally heal if the injury is more severe, even after several months.

Overall, your chances of recovery are better if you begin treatment within three days of the onset of symptoms. When treatment is initiated within this time frame, the majority of patients recover completely.

There is a lower risk of complete recovery if treatment is delayed for more than three days. Children are more likely than adults to make a full recovery.

Treatment

Steroids (such as prednisone) are commonly prescribed as strong anti-inflammatory medicines. Antiviral medications like acyclovir and valacyclovir may be prescribed.

If the pain persists despite the use of steroids, powerful medications may be required. Wear an eye patch while your face is weak to prevent harm to the cornea (corneal abrasion) and other eye damage if your eye does not close completely.

To keep their eyes from drying out, some people use a specific eye lubricant at night and artificial tears throughout the day.

If you’re experiencing dizziness, your doctor may recommend different medications.
