The Federal Government has raised the expense of both single-stage and three-stage power meters starting from November 15, 2021.
It reported this in a circular dated November 11, 2021, given by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission and addressed to overseeing chiefs, all power appropriation organizations and all meter resource suppliers.
The roundabout, with reference number NERC/REG/MAP/GEN/751/2, was named ‘Audit of the unit cost of end-use meters under the Meter Asset Provider and National Mass Metering Regulations’.
In the report, the controller raised the cost of a solitary stage meter from the current expense of N44,896.17 to a reconsidered cost of N58,661.69.
It likewise expanded the cost of a three-stage meter from the current expense of N82,855.19 to a reconsidered pace of N109,684.36.
