Chelsea goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy has opened up on his relationship with teammate, Chelsea, Kepa Arrizabalaga after he showed up from France and took the main spot from the Spaniard.
Mendy joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2020 and took over as the club’s best option, playing multiple times in the Premier League in his first season.
The 29-year-old is currently in front of Arrizabalaga as the Chelsea No.1 attendant in his subsequent season and is placing in a few game-dominating exhibitions.
The west Londoners current Premier League pioneers have surrendered only four objectives in their initial 11 matches.
In any case, the Senegal worldwide says there is no go head to head between the goalkeepers at Chelsea.
“My relationship with Kepa is excellent, just like my relationship with Marcus [Bettinelli], the third goalkeeper at Chelsea. We rival interest,” Mendy told Egyptian outlet El Match TV.
“Interestingly, the opposition between the players is to assist the group. The titles are for the club and not for the player.
“My relationship with my partners is excellent. I regard everybody and there is consistently a condition of fellowship between us.”
Mendy would almost certainly be between the sticks when Chelsea tackle Leicester City in the Premier League after the worldwide break.
