Nollywood Movie Star, Yul Edochie Offers To Help Homeless Veteran Actor, Aguba

Yul Edochie, the popular Nollywood actor, has offered to help a fellow Nollywood actor, Kenneth Jideofor, popularly known as Aguba, who is reportedly homeless.
Pictures of Aguba in a shabby environment trended on the internet on Monday as multiple reports noted that he was homeless at the moment.
Reacting to the news, Edochie said that Aguba should call out his account number and post it online so that contributions can be made for him.
He added that after this is done, Aguba will never lack again.
In a tweet on Monday, Edochie said that the matter was a small one and does not require “too much talk or time wasting.”
Edochie tweeted, “This one is a small matter. Me I don’t believe in too much talk or time wasting. Just get him to do a short video calling out his account details and post it online.
“We’ll do crowdfunding for him. He’ll never lack anything again.”
Sharing a screenshot of his tweet on his Instagram page, Edochie added, “Anyone who can reach Aguba, please do. This is a small matter.”
Aguba has starred in old Nollywood movies like Heavy Storm (2005) and Super Love (2003). He also has some appearances in recent movies.

Fans Hail Burna Boy’s Afronation Performance

Indeed, the grand finale of the three-day Afronation festival that was held on Sunday night with an electrifying performance from grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy.
Referred to as the world’s biggest Afrobeats festival, this year’s event which was held in Portugal began on Friday night with Davido as the headliner.
Superstar Wizkid headlined the second day of the event, where he declared his love for Davido and Burna Boy.
Following Burna Boy’s performance at the finale, fans have celebrated the singer for his musical prowess and electrifying performance.
Praises for Burna Boy
Basketball star, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who shared a clip of the performance on his Instagram story said, “He’s the GOAT (Greatest of all times) Carry on, fellas.”
Fans on Twitter noted that Burna Boy gave an impressive performance to end the show, adding that the shoe organisers saved the best for last.
A fan @ritascuriousity, said, “Burna Boy was such a great ending to Afronation Portugal 2022. The energy was burning!”
Another fan, @benny7gang tweeted, “Burna Boy closes Afronation with a big bang as he performs ‘Last Last’ live. They saved the best for the last! he’s obviously the HIGHLIGHT!”
“You can’t complain about the sound when you are the sound. Burna Boy shut down Afronation,” @CallMeKhalipha noted.
Nigerian singers, Rema and Omah Lay, who performed on the first day of the event had complained about the sound setup of the show.
The duo was referring to a backlash from an attendee who knocked the singers after she claimed that she didn’t hear them sing during their performances.
Rema had noted that the sound was “bad” during his performance, as he faulted the organisers for not providing adequate sound system at the event.

I Regret Not Signing Patoranking And Teni – Soso Soberekon Opens Up

Soso Soberekon, the Nigerian music producer and talent manager, has revealed that he regrets not signing popular music faves, Patoranking and Teni into his record label.
He stated this during a question and answer session on his Instagram on Sunday night.
When asked what his biggest regret was, Soberekon said;
“Why I didn’t sign Patoranking & Teni when I had the chance to, especially Patoranking, he was taking okada from Ikorodu/Ebute Meta to meet me several times with his demo CD.
“Begging me to sign him, but I couldn’t sign him then, but later signed someone else that Patoranking is 100 times bigger than today” he responded.
Patoranking whose real name is Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, is now signed to his own record label “Amari Musiq” and has a distribution deal with VP Records in New York.
While Teniola Apata, the billionaire crooner, is signed Dr. Dolor Entertainment.
She had since 2017 dropped three studio albums and one EP.

Marriage Is A Scam, I’m Not Getting Married – BBNaija Star, Maria Speaks

The former housemate of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show, Maria Chike, says she is not getting married.
The 28-year-old reality TV star spoke of her relationship life in a Twitter post on Sunday.
Maria said she does not want to get married because marriage is a scam.
She, however, admitted that she would like to have children when she is ready.
Maria responded to a fan on Twitter who called on the reality TV star’s lover identified as Kelvin to propose to her.
The fan — with Twitter handle @chikesquad — teased that when Kelvin proposes to Maria, the ICU in hospitals would be overwhelmed.
“Kelvin should just propose if he has not done that yet. ICUs will flood,” the fan tweeted.
In response, Maria wrote: “I don’t want to get married though. That’s the truth! Marriage is a scam. I do want babies soon though when I am ready.”
