Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher has advised Manchester United to give the permanent managerial work position to caretaker manager, Michael Carrick.
The ex Premier League star likewise ridiculed United legend, Rio Ferdinand’s paramount ‘Ole’s at the wheel’ statement.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked on Sunday and Carrick was set as the caretaker coach as the club’s chain of command look for a more experienced manager.
Carrick drove United to a 2-0 success against Villarreal in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

World Cup: De Bruyne, Hazard Clash In Dressing Room After Shock Morocco Defeat
A number of Belgium players were involved in a dressing bust-up after their shock 2-0 defeat to Morocco at the 2022 World Cup.
According to RTL Sport, Kevin de Bruyne, Jan Vertonghen, and captain Eden Hazard clashed after the match.

World Cup: Benzema To Return To France Squad
Karim Benzema could make a surprising return to the France squad at the 2022 World Cup.
The 34-year-old had initially been ruled out through injury.
Benzema was expected to miss the entire tournament with a thigh problem.
France head coach, Didier Deschamps, opted not to call up a replacement and has continued with Kylian Mbappe, Olivier Giroud, Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezmann, Kingsley Coman and Marcus Thuram.
However, RMC Sport claims that Benzema could still return to the France setup as he returns to full training this week at Real Madrid.
Benzema could be fit enough to take part in the knockout stages of the World Cup.
