Nigerian singer and songwriter Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known professionally as Ayra Starr, is overjoyed as her hit song ‘Rush’ bag Platinum certification in France.

The Mavin princess has mastered the art of beautifying and produced a distinctive image that appeals to both her domestic and international audiences to establish herself as one of the gatekeepers of Afrobeats.
‘Rush‘ by Ayra Starr was released in 2022. Since then, the song has amassed around 200 million streams on Spotify and over 100 million views on YouTube.
A platinum certification for the song was given for selling 200,000 units in France, which is 30,000,000 equivalent streams.
Celebrating her triumph, Ayra Starr shared the Platinum plaque for ‘Rush’ on Twitter, with the caption ‘Happy to announce officially that Ayra Starr – Rush is certified platinum in France’.
