Abia Man Sells New Born Baby For N350k After Lying To The Mother That The Baby Died Shortly After Delivery

Appolos Ndubuisi, a 40-year-elderly person, has been captured for purportedly selling a child for N350,000, at Owoahia-Afor area in the Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

It was claimed that Ndubuisi who lied to the mother that the child passed on during birth with one Rose Godwin Chinweikpe, who works at the maternity home at Owoahia-Afor community.

As indicated by Vanguard, the baby who was supposed to be a stillbirth has a place with Ndubuisi’s alleged spouse, Deborah Onukaogu.

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State, Mrs Janet Agbede, who informed Journalists in Umuahia noticed that in 2020 Deborah Onukaogu became pregnant for Appolos Ndubuisi, a local of Umuariaga town in Ikwuano committee space of the state.

Onukaogu admitted to the Police that Ndubuisi never played out the customary or Christian marriage ceremonies to make her his lawfully hitched spouse.

Notwithstanding, Onukaogu was said to have conveyed a child kid on 26 June, 2021, yet the suspects, Ndubuisi and Rose, contrived and asserted that the child was a stillbirth, the CP revealed.

It was discovered that Deborah became pregnant again for Ndubuisi who requested that she visit Rose’s maternity home for another conveyance.

Deborah, who smelled a rat about the supposed stillbirth, held up a report to the police prompting the capture of the two suspects.

“The complainant, Mrs. Deborah Onukaogu acknowledged the story that her child was a stillbirth in with the best of intentions and consequently became pregnant again to a similar man. Ndubuisi recommended that she ought to go to a similar maternity home where she had the supposed stillbirth. Deborah protested however the alleged spouse, Appolos Ndubuisi demanded and told her that they would sell the unborn youngster on conveyance.

“This assertion uplifted Deborah’s doubt on what more likely than not occurred to the past youngster which they guaranteed kicked the bucket on conveyance and she answered to the Police. Examination uncovered that the implied stillbirth of the principal kid was false.
